Welcome to summer!!
You can make some of the best memories with your children during the summer months throughout their childhood. Why wait until they’re school aged? Get into a family tradition of welcoming new activities when you can throughout the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We live in a beautiful state full of playgrounds and beaches and breathtaking outdoor spaces. Sometimes I’m at a loss when it’s too hot or raining for things to keep my kids from saying the dreaded ‘I’m boooooored!’ Below are a few links to some pages that will help you to liven up your summer calendar. Don’t be afraid to try new things with your kids. I’ve found that seeing the World through their eyes sometimes can be therapeutic. Give up the heels and makeup and get down and dirty. They won’t remember the clothing you wore or the car you drove, they will remember that time that mom jumped on the trampoline or dad chased them into the pool with his clothes still on. Connecting with your kids can mean bringing out your own inner kid, embrace it 🙂
