Welcome to the month of December!
We will be closed December 25th and 26th for Christmas and January 1st.

Infant Room A and B:
Children will develop large muscle skills, control and strength. Children will also gain an appreciation for and participate in the creative arts.
Family Engagement: Closed Dec 25th and 26th.
Classroom Special Events: Christmas family tradition, you will write it on our tradition door.

Infant Room C:
Children will socialize with preferred adults by reciprocating smiling, laughing and vocalizing. Children will also notice and discriminate the sounds of spoken language.
Family Engagement: Holiday songs.
Classroom Special Events: Family holiday card swap
Crawler Room A and B:
Children will explore the characteristics of objects and materials that are living, non-living, man-made or naturally occurring through different sensory activities. Children will also gain an appreciation for and participate in the creative arts by creating process art projects.
Family Engagement: Holiday party Dec 22nd.
Classroom Special Events: Bring in a photo of how your family celebrates the holidays for our collage
Younger Toddlers A and B Room:
Children will engage in positive interactions with other children when we are making our trees for our toddler farm. Children will also hold information in their mind and manipulate it to perform certain tasks, like using a fork or spoon to eat their lunch.
Family Engagement: Watch for our toddler tree farm.
Classroom Special Events: We will be sending home a tree for you to decorate with your child.

Older Toddlers Room:
Children will follow two-step directions that involve familiar experiences and objects. Children will also understand how to take turns during play with other children with adult guidance and assistance.
Family Engagement: Make a snowman at home.
Classroom Special Events: Christmas party 12/22!.

Three’s Room:
Children will engage in positive relationships and interactions with other children, children will pick a partner to pair up with for holiday activities. Children will gain appreciation for and participate in the creative arts, they will be working in pairs for our holiday crafts for the classroom.
Family Engagement: Christmas Party
Classroom Special Events: Make a holiday ornament at home to bring into class to hang on our tree.

Pre-K Classroom:
Children will gain awareness of how they relate to their family and community, understand social roles and responsibilities and recognize and respect similarities and differences in people. Children will also gain awareness of how they relate to their family and community, understand social roles and responsibilities.

K-Prep Classroom:
Children will gain awareness of how they relate to their family and community, understand social roles and responsibilities and recognize and respect similarities and differences in people. Children will also become increasingly proficient in expressing their thoughts and ideas in English.
Family Engagement: Holiday Party.
Classroom Special Events: Family Christmas gifts. We are asking families to share a couple of their favorite family holiday traditions.
